How to Pour Tea 101; a lesson at Silk Road
Daniela’s 4 steps to pouring the perfect cup of tea (without making a mess).
1 –Don’t fill the teapot all the way; about two thirds full is good.
2 – Pour at a relatively wide angle; not too low to the cup.
3 – Don’t be timid, Daniella says, “ as many things in life, confidence helps you”
4 – Close off quickly “a flick of the wrist and you get a nice clean finish”
She also recommends testing your tea pot before you buy to make sure it’s not a dripper.
