Fifth Week of Holiday Gifts for Foodie-file Readers

Sorry folks, I deleted this post by accident. In a nut shell I awarded a cookbook to one of my loyal subscribers and let you know that I still have more cookbooks to give away.

Read some of my other posts, they are better than this one was anyway!

I have never seen this show but would love to try some new Italian recipes.

My fiance loves Italian food…we’re getting married in June! Giada’s Kitchen cookbook might just help me brush up!

  • Betty Wright says:

What would I do without Canadian Living this time of year. I just made Carol Ferguson’s shortbread and I have 3 Canadian Living cookbooks open on my kitchen table!

I love Italian food as well, in fact made a recipe from a Tuscan cookbook for dinner last night.

Please enter my name in the contest and thanks for all your wonderful ideas and recipes!

    Betty,
There isn’t a contest – just click on the word email where it says “subscribe to this blog” at the top of the page and you are eligible to recieve a cookbook. I pick a new subscriber to give a cookbook to every week. – Good Luck!

How is the sixth week of holdiay gifts unclaimed? You’ve posted that you’ve awarded it to a loyal subscriber?

  • christine picheca says:

Jeannie – I made a mess of my blog postings today. This weeks cookbook is unclaimed and you’ll notice that I have deleted the content of this post and explained the mess I made. The sixth week post should be up soon.

  • I would love to win a cook book;I;m always looking for something diferent to cook. Comeing from the UK .i grew up on plain food;now i;m ready to spice it up .

  • Happy holidays to all. I received one of the ‘prize’ books as a Christmas present,,the one by Bonnie Stern. It has simple, user friendly recipes, to impress family/guests. I have to say that although I havent won a book on the foodie file, it has been a great incentive to log on to the website. Cooking is one of my passions, and Im anxious to learn more. Thank you for this blog!
