Sixth Week of Holiday Gifts – Unclaimed!

I’m supposed to be giving away Giada’s Kitchen: New Italian Favourites today, but so far I have not heard back from my chosen recipient. If you are reading this and are subscribed to the Foodie-file check you email, this cookbook might belong to you!

Also I’ve had a few comments about subscribing. Just a reminder, there is no contest to enter just click on the word “e-mail” under the e-mail icon and follow the prompts, it only takes a second to subscribe and I still have two more great cookbooks to give away.

Speaking of which, the next one up is Rachel Ray’s Big Orange Book by Food Network darling Rachel Ray. Don’t miss out on this one!

I also have another fun cookbook giveaway going on. Cook up a gourmet dish from the West Cookbook and you can be taking the cookbook home. I’ll post the pictures of the best dishes and award three cookbooks to the best submissions.

  • My e-mail sends a lot of stuff to ‘spam’ and it’s automatically deleted unless the system recognizes the sender from my Address Book. Could I have won? (I wish)

    Patty-Anne,
It’s not necessary to scroll through remarks. If you won you would have recieved and email from me directly to your inbox. I checked and unfortunately you are not the winner. Keep checking your email!

Dorothy and Francis – sorry but not you guys either.

    Hi
I am sure that I am not the winner. But I am confused. I am subscribed to the foodie file. I have received foodie file letters stating other winners. I do not get them all and I have checked my spam file. When you say that you will be notified re winning do you mean by the e-mail address you put down when you joined the foodie file? Winner or not I enjoy the letters and have collected some great recipes to try.

  • christine picheca says:

Jean, yes I would notify you with the address you subscribed to the Foodie-file. It would not be an email of my regular posts, it would be to you specifically saying you have been chosen and to please send me your address so that I can mail you the cookbook.

  • Linda says:

Well, I wish everyone a super new year filled with joy, good health and fragrant kitchens. The yummy scents of hearty soups, roasts, sauces and pies bring me back to thoughts of my childhood. I was so fortunate to have very sweet parents who loved to cook too.Eventhough the winds would be howling and flurries swirling outside during our chilly winter months in the Laurentians, are hearts were always warm. Good food is good for uplifting the spirit.
