Ladies Night Ticket Winners!
I left the judging of the April fool’s contest to, Austen Gilliland, Senior Copy Editor and author of the soon to be launched Canadian Living craft blog. Austen helped me come up with the April fools theme for the contest so in the interest of fair play and staying as unbiased as possible, I left your comments in her capable, crafty hands.
The winners of the tickets to Lifford’s Ladies night event this Thursday are Kelly and Huguette who played these culinary capers on their children:
From Kelly:
“Having a 16 yr old son that is full of attitude I thought I would make him a special lunch for April fools . He takes a salad everyday ..In it I put 3 small fake spiders..his Oreo cookies I replaced the filling with tooth paste…I also put lots of little notes in his lunch sack and thru his back pack and books, along with a note I stuck on his back that says I love my MOM…needless to say he’s already planning his revenge for next year.”
From Hugette:
“One year I poured milk into a juice container and added a few drops of orange food coloring to it, I waited for them to sit and watch me pour the “orange milk” on their cereals, the look on their face was priceless. They still talk about it.”

I wasn’t going to comment on Huguette’s selling offer; however, now I see that others have….
I am truly sorry for upsetting the readers by offering to sell my tickets. I suppose I should’ve explained it better, what I wanted to do is whoever was the most interested in having the tickets, is the person I would’ve asked to go for me. Bad choice of words.

I had a fantastic night thanks to Huguette and Christine. Lots of lovely wine and wonderful food. Colin and Justin were kept busy with lots of ladies hanging off them
